Hi, I am Ms. J. Dudley, School Counselor for students of J.S. Abrams Elementary School. I have been in education since 2007. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Panther Family!!
I would like to welcome you to the J.S. Abrams Elementary School Guidance Department website. As counselors, we work hard as a member of a team of professionals to create a caring and supportive environment, courses, and activities, as well as transitioning into elementary school and transitioning from elementary school to middle school.
Guidance services include, but not limited to:
Individual/Small Group/Large Group Counseling
Students Socialization and Orientation
Occupational and Educational Exploration
Developing Interpersonal Skills
Developing Study Skills
This carefully planned system of guidance activities are derived from the ASCA standards.
I received my School Counseling master's degree from the University of West Alabama. I also have a B.A. from Alabama A&M University, a M.Ed. from Alabama State University, and another M.Ed. in Educational Technology from National University. I'm a native of Alabama, and I've been here the majority of my life. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, and I also enjoy writing, shooting photographs, and anything else in "The Arts."
