Greetings Panther Parents!!!

Wow, we have reached the last month of school!!! The finish line is in clear view as we count down to summer. The spring test administration of the Scantron Performance Series has come and gone with much success. I am panther proud of our scholars for the great gains they made in the areas of math and reading. Our kindergarten and first grade scholars are being administered the D.I.B.E.L.S.; I am expecting them to make great gains as well. Thank you for supporting our choir’s Spring Concert and Girls on the Run event; your presence spoke volumes of your love for our students.

As we end this school year, I want you to know how grateful I am for all you have done. I am truly honored to work alongside you in helping our scholars to be the best they can be. I am looking forward to ending the year on a high note. Information regarding summer enrichment is forthcoming. Here is what is happening with Panther Nation for this month.

Ø  Scholastic Book Fair (1^st-4^th)

Ø  Bring a Parent/Grandparent to Lunch then visit the Book Fair (2^nd)

Ø  Grandparent Night at the Book Fair (3^rd from 3:00-6:00)

Ø  Jameis Winston Collage submission deadline (4^th)

Ø  Nurses’ Appreciation Week (6^th-12^th)/National School Nurse Day (9^th)

Ø  Teachers’ Appreciation Week (7^th-11^th)/Teachers’ Appreciation Day (8^th)

Ø  Beta Club field trip to the Birmingham Barons baseball game (9^th)

Ø  2^nd grade field trip to Children’s Theater (9^th)

Ø  Special Olympics (10^th)

Ø  5^th grade scholars visit to BCMS (10^th)

Saludos Padres Panther !!!

¡Guau, hemos llegado al último mes de la escuela! La línea de llegada está a la vista mientras contamos hacia abajo para el verano. La administración de la prueba de primavera de la Serie de rendimiento de Scantron ha llegado y se ha ido con mucho éxito. Estoy orgullosa de nuestros académicos por los grandes logros que han logrado en las áreas de matemáticas y lectura. Nuestros estudiantes de kínder y primer grado reciben el D.I.B.E.L.S .; Espero que obtengan grandes ganancias también. Gracias por apoyar el Concierto de Primavera de nuestro coro y el evento Girls on the Run; tu presencia hablaba mucho de tu amor por nuestros estudiantes.

Al finalizar este año escolar, quiero que sepan cuánto me siento agradecido por todo lo que han hecho. Me siento verdaderamente honrado de trabajar junto a usted para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a ser lo mejor que puedan ser. Tengo muchas ganas de terminar el año con una nota alta.
